5North Condos is a new development in the Oakville neighbourhood of West Oak Trails.
Location
This condo development is located at 1388 Dundas Street West, near Third Line. Though some local shops and restaurants are within walking distance of the building, the walk score of this area is low. Most errands require a car.
However, Oakville Transit bus routes stop right outside 5North Condos’ front door. So residents can commute throughout the city or connect to one of the two Oakville GO train stations. Highways 407, 403, and the QEW are all easily accessible to residents. Motorists can commute into Toronto’s downtown core in just 40 minutes. Residents can drive to Pearson International Airport in 25 minutes.
Parkland, including walking and biking trails, is nearby. For example, Lion’s Valley Park is only a 4 minute drive away.
Design
5North Condos is a 6 storey contemporary building with a facade of mixed materials. It features a skyline of staggered heights to add visual interest.
Units
5North Condos is made up of 150 units. There are 11 different floor plans, ranging in size from 596-940 square feet. Ceilings are 9-10ft high. All units include smart home technology. Each unit comes with a storage locker and one underground parking spot. Because the development is still in the pre-construction phase, details regarding interior finishings of the units have not yet been released.
Amenities
Residents of 5North Condos can enjoy a rooftop terrace with bbqs, seating, and views of the city. They will also have access to a well-equipped fitness facility.
