Currently under construction, the Berkshire Residences is a boutique-style condo development in south Oakville.
Design
The Berkshire Residences is a low-rise building with a distinctive curved entrance on one corner. Its exterior features pale gray stone with charcoal brick and dark wood accents. The main entrance leads into a spacious lobby with a fireplace and designer seating.
Units
The Berkshire Residences houses 55 luxury suites. Units are available from 1-3 bedrooms, with different floor plan options. Ceilings are 10 feet high. All units will feature high-end finishings such as porcelain countertops, spa-style bathrooms and engineered hardwood floors. Each unit includes a storage locker.
Units will also have smart home technology. This will let condo owners do things like manage visitors and control the temperature in their unit when they are away from the building.
In addition, some of the units will include large balconies or private terraces with lake views.
Amenities
The Berkshire Residences will offer residents a rooftop lounge with views of Lake Ontario. This landscaped area will include comfortable seating, private cabanas, and outdoor gas fireplaces. Additionally, residents will have access to a herb garden.
Indoors, there is a fitness centre with space for cardio, yoga and weight training. Residents can also use a party room that has lake and city views, a catering kitchen, and a casual lounge with fireplace and projector screen.
A 24-hour concierge will provide security and support services to people living in the building.
Underground car parking and a bike storage area are also available.
Location
Berkshire Residences is located at 123 Maurice Drive, near Lakeshore Road West. The surrounding neighbourhood is easy to transit on foot. Restaurants, cafes, grocery stores, shopping centres and theatres are all within easy walking distance. Parks, hiking trails, and bike paths are also steps away. Additionally, the condo is close to public transit. The Oakville GO train station is a seven minute walk. For those with a car, the building is also close to major connecting roads, including the 403/QEW.
Builder
The Berkshire Residences is built by RISE Development, a new real estate company based in the greater Toronto area. Other current RISE projects include the Deane, and Amsterdam Urban Towns.
